Tjin Lee is the Managing Director and Founder of Mercury Marketing & Communications, an award-winning agency with two divisions – Mercury PR and Mercury Live – specialising in fashion, lifestyle and luxury industries.

In 2009, she founded the Audi Fashion Festival, known today as the Singapore Fashion Week, bringing in shows by international designers. Ms Lee started her career in fashion and luxury lifestyle as part of the marketing team of Club 21, Singapore’s leading fashion retailer.

In 2001, she decided to branch out on her own and started Mercury Marketing & Communications. Fashion is her passion and it drives everything she does. She is committed to building Singapore as a prestigious, world-class fashion destination, to bring about the internationalisation of Singapore designers and attract attention from buyers around the world and region, capturing international limelight for the city as Asia’s fashion capital.

In 2014, Tjin co-founded CRIB, a Singapore-based social enterprise that aims to empower women to become successful entrepreneurs through networking, matchmaking and business incubation.

A passionate entrepreneur, Tjin boasts directorship in nine local businesses, including Trehaus, Baby Style Icon, CRIB and Wolfgang Violin Studio. She was also the recipient of the inaugural SIngapore Tatler Young Achiever Leadership Award (2010). Tjin is mum to two young sons, Tyler and Jake.

David SeeFounder and Managing Director of Mercury Live

David See is a qualified Barrister-at-Law (Middle Temple, UK), and started Lumina in Singapore, an events marketing and ‘live’ communications agency since 1999.

His vision for Lumina since its inception is to be one of the leading lifestyle and luxury marketing events agencies in Asia, and to provide brands and clients with creative, innovative and professional expertise. His experience with Lumina has given him exposure to international markets and business cultures, where he leads a team that exercises strong attention-to-detail to the marketing, communications, and branding challenges presented.

His work requires him to consistently deliver creative and impactful concepts and results with the challenges of time, budget and relevance. Consequently, his approach to marketing event challenges is a holistic one that considers branding, marketing, PR, and communications.

Over the past 17 years, his experience encompassed governments, MNCs, luxury and lifestyle brands, and geographically has extended to cover China, the Middle East, Singapore and many Asian cities.

In 2007, he incorporated a holding company Lumina Looque International, which wholly owns Lumina Live!, JUICE Media (a publishing company) & Looque Agency (a models and artistes management agency).

David is the owner of SEED Investments, a separate investment vehicle that he started in 2008, which in the past has invested in projects in tech and food & beverage, and its latest investment is in Apollo Branded Content Ltd. He is also an initial investor in Lumina Looque Knowledge Hub, which is one of the key partners and shareholder of Retech Technology listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

In March 2017, David entered into a partnership with Tjin Lee to start Mercury Live, with a view to aligning both of Singapore’s leading event agencies – Mercury & Lumina – on an expansion plan.
