President of MIKIMOTO, Mr Hitoshi Yoshida, flew in from Japan specially for the occasion where he gave a welcome address and officiated the opening of the boutique in a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Ms Stefanie Sun, acclaimed Singaporean singer-songwriter, Mr Toshiyuki Kumai, Managinig Director of MIKIMOTO (Asia Pacific), Mr Tomotsugu Ito, Managing Director of MIKIMOTO Singapore and Mr Chris Chong, Chief Executive Officer of ION Orchard.
